Terms of use · Updated October 17, 2026

Using FrameShot

FrameShot is a tool from Dreamlights Group LLC for turning videos into image references. You may use FrameShot for personal or professional creative work, subject to the rights in the footage you choose. Regular still extraction is free without an account. Sign in with a verified email for Pro or legacy project unlocks. Keep access to your email secure.

Respect the source

Only process footage you own or have permission to use. You retain any rights you already hold in your source footage and output. FrameShot does not grant rights to someone else’s content. You are responsible for following applicable laws and the terms of the source material’s license.

Save what matters

History saves recent generations in this browser and is not a cloud backup. Download anything important, particularly if saving to history fails. Original footage must be reselected after a refresh. The service may change, and processing depends on your device’s memory, browser, and video codec. We do not promise that every file up to the size limit will work on every device.

Current limits

Use one video at a time, up to 1,000,000,000 bytes. Each run supports up to 240 frames and a 256 MiB image-output budget. Frame dimensions are capped at 3840 × 2160 without upscaling; contact sheets are scaled within 4096 × 4096 pixels. These limits help keep local processing manageable.

Free stills and FrameShot Pro

Regular still extraction, individual images, contact sheets, and standard ZIP downloads are free. FrameShot Pro costs $4.99 USD per month, plus applicable tax shown at checkout. Pro includes local depth-map generation and storyboard editing, with no monthly local-generation quota. The same device, frame, and storage limits apply. Cloud inference and cloud storage are not included.

Pro is a recurring subscription. By confirming the subscription at checkout, you authorize the stated monthly charge until cancellation. Access starts after successful payment is confirmed. Failed or unresolved payments can suspend new premium generation and editing. A subscription does not permanently unlock every project created while subscribed.

Cancellation and refunds

Use Manage subscription on your account page to cancel through Stripe. Ordinary cancellation stops renewal and keeps Pro access until the end of the paid period. Saved depth maps and storyboards remain viewable and downloadable from this browser after access ends; creating new maps or editing boards requires active Pro or a legacy project unlock.

Deleting your FrameShot account cancels its active subscription immediately and ends paid access. Account deletion does not automatically issue a refund. Keep any files you need before deleting your account or clearing browser data.

For accidental purchases, duplicate charges, failed delivery, or refund requests, contact dreamlightsgroupllc@gmail.com with your purchase email. Cancellation does not automatically refund a paid period. We review refund requests individually; your statutory rights are unaffected. A full refund or unresolved payment dispute can remove the associated paid access.

Previously purchased credits

New credit packs and welcome-credit grants have ended. Existing balances and permanent project unlocks remain valid. You may explicitly choose to use one legacy credit to unlock depth and storyboard tools for a project. We never spend these credits on regular still exports. Credits do not expire, do not renew, and cannot be transferred or redeemed for cash. Existing customers are not automatically subscribed.

Refunds and payment disputes adjust credits associated with the original purchase. Partial refunds reverse the corresponding proportion of the pack, rounded up to whole credits. If those credits were spent, the balance can become negative. Contact support for unused-credit refund requests. Saved images and project unlocks do not constitute cloud storage or backups.
