Using the public preview
FrameShot is a tool from Dreamlights Group LLC for turning videos into image references. You may use the public preview for personal or professional creative work, subject to the rights in the footage you choose. The preview is currently free, requires no account, and does not accept payments.
Respect the source
Only process footage you own or have permission to use. You retain any rights you already hold in your source footage and output. FrameShot does not grant rights to someone else’s content. You are responsible for following applicable laws and the terms of the source material’s license.
Save what matters
The workspace is temporary and is not a cloud backup. Download your results before closing, refreshing, or leaving the workspace. The preview may change, and processing depends on your device’s memory, browser, and video codec. We do not promise that every file up to the size limit will work on every device.
Current limits
Use one video at a time, up to 1,000,000,000 bytes. Each run supports up to 240 frames and a 256 MiB image-output budget. Frame dimensions are capped at 3840 × 2160 without upscaling; contact sheets are scaled within 4096 × 4096 pixels. These limits help keep local processing manageable.
Future credit packs
The pricing page describes the planned credit model. No purchases, subscriptions, credit balances, or account allowances are active during preview. Final checkout information and payment terms will be made available before purchases open.
